The TRUST project conducts experiments and pilots in four geographical locations: Finland, Sweden, Germany and Australia. Utilising multi-sited ethnographic approach, TRUST learns how minors build up and use their capacities as transcultural subjects and how carers recognise, react and support these encounters when translating them into their care practices. These micro-level analyses have a great potential to inform policy reformations on suitable and child-friendly protection and integration schemes in Finland and in Europe.
